Donatella Luxury Upholstered Modern Bed

Description

Donatella Bed: Layered Curves for a Warm, Expressive Bedroom

The Donatella Bed introduces an expressive, layered shape to the bedroom. Its wide headboard combines softly rounded outlines, while the padded base keeps the sleeping area visually grounded. The photographed arrangement uses pale upholstery against a deeper brown section, creating a warm composition with a clear focal point.

The appeal is in the balance between broad, simple forms and gentle curves. Donatella can anchor a room with decorative wall mouldings just as comfortably as a contemporary setting, giving you scope to combine modern bedroom furniture with more traditional architectural detail.

Important note: Prices apply to the bed only. Mattress, bedding, pillows, cushions, throws, bedside tables and accessories shown in the images are not included. Fabric colours can be customised; ask about available alternative materials.

A Broad, Layered Headboard

The headboard’s overlapping, curved forms give Donatella its distinctive identity. A lighter rounded section sits in front of a darker backdrop in the photograph, while the central padded area frames the pillows. The listing gives a headboard width of 320 cm and height of 110 cm.

Confirm the exact colour arrangement and construction when selecting your finish. For styling, leave the outer curves visible and use uncomplicated bedside lighting to draw attention to the layered silhouette.

Warm Upholstery with Tonal Contrast

Cream and brown tones in the product image create a welcoming palette. The light sleeping area feels particularly clear against the deeper headboard detail, allowing the shape to stand out without a busy pattern. Upholstery is listed, but its exact fibre composition is not specified.

Choose bedding that relates to one of the selected tones, then introduce a small amount of contrast through a cushion or throw. The patterned bench pictured at the foot is a separate furnishing.

A Rounded Upholstered Base

Donatella’s visible base has a padded, softly rounded front that echoes the headboard’s curves. Its broad horizontal line gives the bed a settled appearance and keeps the overall design cohesive. The base can be styled with a gently shaped rug to reinforce that softness.

The bed is listed at 200 × 200 × 80 cm, while the headboard is separately listed at 110 cm high. Confirm how the bed-height measurement is taken before finalising your room layout or mattress choice.

Perfect for Many Bedrooms

Master bedroom: Use the layered headboard to establish a warm, expressive centrepiece.

Guest bedroom: Create an inviting setting with a restrained palette and rounded bedside accessories.

Villa and apartment bedrooms: Measure the full headboard width and leave room for practical access around the bed.

Hotels and serviced apartments: Explore the design for a distinctive scheme after checking project requirements.

Show homes and staging: Emphasise the contrast between soft furniture curves and crisp architectural lines.

Design Style

Donatella suits contemporary, organic modern and modern classic interiors. In a room with wall mouldings, its curved shapes can bring a more relaxed furniture layer. Against plain walls, the headboard becomes the main decorative feature. Rounded lamps, understated metallic details and a rug with a soft outline can complement the bed. Keep accessory patterns limited so the layered headboard remains easy to appreciate.

Care and Maintenance

Keep the Donatella looking considered and inviting with gentle, regular care. Follow the instructions supplied for your chosen finish before applying any cleaning product.

• Remove surface dust with a soft brush attachment on a low suction setting, where suitable for the upholstery.
• Blot accidental spills promptly using a clean, dry cloth; avoid vigorous rubbing.
• Test any approved upholstery cleaner on a concealed area first.
• Position the bed away from prolonged, strong direct sunlight where practical.
• Keep sharp objects and abrasive cleaning tools away from the finish.
• Ask for finish-specific care guidance when confirming your fabric selection.
